Dan Lent for First Selectman.

Protecting what makes Easton Home.

A large modern building with a combination of white and black exterior walls, curved rooflines, and several windows. The building is situated in a parking lot with a few trees and a blue sky with clouds overhead.

Dan is committed to restoring educational excellence in Easton’s schools so they can once again perform on par with our peer DRG-A towns, like Weston. He is equally dedicated to protecting what makes Easton unique – our farms, longstanding three-acre residential zoning, and our vital watershed land, which helps provide clean water to much of Fairfield County.

Dan will stand behind our first responders and work to make Easton more affordable for senior citizens and young families by meaningfully advancing the town’s state-mandated affordable housing plan.

He believes every resident should be treated equally, without special favors or exceptions. Dan is deeply concerned by what he sees as creeping commercialization through special permit approvals. Easton has always been zoned residential-only, and he is committed to preserving that identity by stopping improper efforts to introduce commercial development into our town.
